Lelu Oware is an Oware game for iPhone and iPad: play the computer, a friend on the same device, the Journey, daily riddles and a short lesson.
Usage statistics are off until you agree. After your first finished game the app asks once whether you would like to share them; you can change your answer at any time in Settings ▸ Share anonymous usage stats. Only while that switch is on does the app send a small number of events to TelemetryDeck, an analytics service based in the EU:
TelemetryDeck receives no name, email, contacts, location or anything you type. Each device is represented only by a one-way hash, so we cannot tell who you are, and the data is not linked to you or used to track you. It is used only to count and improve the game. Turn the switch off and nothing more is sent.
TelemetryDeck processes these events only on our behalf, under its own privacy policy, which protects them at least as well as this one. It does not sell them or use them for anything else.
How long we keep them, and deleting them. We keep usage statistics for at most 12 months and then delete them. Because they cannot be linked to you, we cannot pick out the events from your device; switching the setting off stops new ones at once, and everything already sent is deleted within those 12 months. If you would like us to delete all usage statistics for Lelu Oware sooner, or have any question about them, write to the address under Contact and we will reply within 30 days.
Leaderboards (daily-riddle streak, Journey stars, wins against the Grandmaster) and achievements use Apple’s Game Center. If you sign in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple and shown to other players as Apple’s Game Center settings allow, under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple ID, email or Game Center contacts, and we do not display your Game Center player ID. If you decline Game Center, the game works exactly the same without it.
The app never asks for your email. If you sign up for news on our newsletter page, your email address is held by the email service named on that page and used only to send Lelu Oware news. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
The game is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal data from anyone; the anonymous usage statistics above are sent only if someone agrees, contain nothing that identifies a person, and can be switched off in Settings.
